 Let's talk about sharks
Alessandro De Maddalena (Milan, Italy, 1970), one of the major shark experts in Europe,
is visiting Cape Town and will join us at Kalk Bay Books to discuss his book,
Sharks: The Perfect Predator
in light of the recent increase in shark activity on the False Bay coast.
De Maddalena is the curator of the Italian Great White Shark Data Bank, the President of the Italian Ichthyological Society, and a founding member of the Mediterranean Shark Research Group.
His research findings have been published in numerous scientific publications.
He is also the author of fourteen books on sharks.
