If you belong to a book club looking for an interesting array of fiction and non fiction books, we offer competitive discounts, personal service in the book shop, and an online books search and listing facility to help you make appropriate selections.

The following terms and conditions apply:

• The club is officially registered at Kalk Bay Books (please complete a form in-store).
• Two discounts are offered: 20% on a minimum purchase of 3 books up to the value of R799, or 25% on a total sales value of R800 or more.
• Coffee table books, children’s, gift books and cookbooks do not qualify for the book club discount.
• A maximum of 10 books may be taken on appro provided the person taking the books has registered their full name, address, email and phone contact details. This person will accept responsibility for any books taken on appro in the name of the book club.
• Books taken on appro must be returned within one week.
• Appro books that are returned scuffed, soiled or damaged in any way will be charged for in full.
• Book Club members may not use the book club discount for personal purchases.
• Kalk Bay Books reserves the right to withdraw this service in its entirety or to individual book clubs if it is abused in any way.
